Status on Lindsay

Thanks everyone for coming out last night to the first fundraiser - we haven't received the totals yet but when we do there will be a seperate blog about it with photos!

This one however, is to update you all on Lindsay's status. Some of you may have heard last night that Lindsay got a call from her doctors as she was walking into the restaurant. They had received her results back from Tuesday's bronchialoscopy and found signs of rejection and needed her to spend a few nights in the hospital. She got the call around 8:30 pm that they had a bed ready for her, said her good-byes at Chevys and went back up to Stanford.

Broke $1,000.00!!!

Thank you so much for everyone who has donated so far. As of yesterday, June 4th we have broken $1,000.00 raised. Please keep up the great work of spreading Lindsay's story to all who you know.

$54,000.00 to go!!!

Extended Blogs

Just to let you all know, most of the blogs written have more content then what you see... to make sure you are seeing the full blog please click on the Title itself for each one! :)

It's Been One Month!

As of yesterday it has been one month since the transplant and Lindsay is doing fantastic! Last night Mike and I went up to visit with Lindsay, Rebecca, Jared and Craig. As soon as we pulled up to her apartment in Stanford we all went to Subway for dinner. She had been craving it and found one about 10 minutes away.

Afterwards we went back to the apartment so Lindsay could take her 8:00pm meds and we started playing Guitar Hero, courtesy of Craig. Lindsay was rockin' out the pictures say it all!

Fundraising Underway

There hasn't been much activity on the blogs this past week so I just wanted to let you all know that there are activities in the works. Rebecca, Jared and I met for a quick brainstorming session and came up with a lot of fun ideas so be on the look out for more info to come!

Also, if you have fundraising ideas of your own please let us know. We are asking for help in leading them but will give you 110% support! Please email Rebecca with your ideas or leave comments so we can contact you.

Reminder: Wednesday June 10th will be our first fundraiser at Chevys - check out the Activities and Events Page for all the details!!!

Dinner with Lindsay

Hey everyone it's Nicole! Last night Penny and I went up to visit with Lindsay, Rebecca and Rachelle. I made Lindsay our special meal of Breaded Chicken and Pesto along with some Pillsbury Crescents! mmmmm! But the special treat of all was the homemade brownies that Penny made (special request by Lindsay!).

After dinner and dessert we decided to look through old photos. And even though it hurt Lindsay to laugh, she just couldn't help it! I think we all laughed so hard, the most laughing done in a long time!!!

It was so great to see Lindsay enjoying herself so much. But what really touched me was the fact that no matter how hard she was laughing she never once went into her coughing spells like she used to. It was such a spectacular moment!
